Welcome to electricity and electronics. The electrical/electronic systems are the more complex systems. Not too many years ago around 12% of items were controlled by electrical components. Today, around 90% of functions of the vehicle are controlled by electrical components. Just think about most the cars and truck you have rode in, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, and the list goes on.

When completing this unit you should take the A.S.E. practice exam on pages 575-592
on a Scantron form. Also view the Fast Pace A.S.E. Prep series film on electricity.

Also complete, Tech Manual Chapter 20 ASE Prep Test page 241 - Scantron
